Responsibilities : As a leading member of the Consulting Services team, the primary role will be designing and implementing I.T. solutions using Microsoft technologies. A senior consultant will have a broad understanding of all our key consulting areas (SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, BizTalk) and be specialised in at least one of them. Typical areas of responsibility include assisting the pre-sales process with presentations, client meets, technical demonstrations and proposals, requirements gathering and the design process, development, testing, deployment and documentation. Senior Consultants must be prepared to work alone, or alongside a client’s I.T. division. There will be a responsibility to be presentable, punctual and self manage to an extent.

Skills Required (Technical) :

• Extensive experience and understanding of the Microsoft .NET platform
• 2-3 years development experience with C# or VB.net
• Microsoft SQL Server Experience (2000 or above) including sound T-SQL knowledge including stored procedures and triggers
• Proven consulting/development experience in at least 2 of the following technologies within an enterprise environment: Dynamics CRM 3.0, SharePoint 2003/2007, BizTalk Server 2004/2006, ProClarity
• A good understanding of the following server components: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003/2007, IIS 6
• Experience of working in a structured development environment, applying a known methodology and a good understanding of testing requirements.
• Experience of developing N-tier architectures
• Experience of developing within a structured methodology
• Knowledge and experience of at least one project management methodology.

Educational Requirements :

• O Level / A Level or GCSEs / B-tech or greater
• Any recent Microsoft certification advantageous
